Owner / Managing Funeral Director

Bob has been a dedicated Funeral Director and Embalmer in the Creston Valley since 1998, starting his career at G.F. Oliver Funeral Chapel. He is passionate about his work and takes great pride in providing professional and meaningful service to the community. In 2016, Bob took on the role of General Manager, and in 2021, he had the opportunity to purchase the funeral home with his family. Bob has a strong commitment to serving others, and he believes his work is a calling, not just a job. Along with his family, Bob provides exceptional service that is second to none. Apart from his work, Bob is an active member of his church, enjoys outdoor activities, and is a seasoned triathlon competitor. He also spends time working on his family farm.

Jenna Poznikoff

Jenna Poznikoff

Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer

Meet Jenna! She was born and raised in the Creston Valley, and graduated from Prince Charles Secondary School in 2018. After completing her studies, Jenna joined G.F. Oliver Funeral Chapel and decided to pursue a career in Funeral Directing and Embalming. She successfully completed her education from the Canadian College of Funeral Service and became fully licensed in 2021. Believe it or not, Jenna is one of the youngest fully licensed Funeral Directors and Embalmers in all of Canada! Jenna has a huge heart and is passionate about serving others. As a compassionate and empathetic Funeral Director, she guides families through the most challenging time of their lives. Jenna considers it an honour to serve the community where she grew up and is grateful that she can provide a meaningful service to others.

Dayna Leduc

Assistant Office Manager

Meet Dayna, a proud resident of Creston, BC. He graduated from Prince Charles Secondary School and began his career as an Auto Body and Refinishing Technician. Later, Dayna switched to Canadian Pacific Railway. Recently, in December 2021, the G.F. Oliver Funeral Chapel came under new ownership by the Leduc family. Dayna saw this as the perfect opportunity to join the family business and work locally while spending more time with his wife and son. Dayna considers it a blessing to serve the community and cherishes the relationships he builds with every family he serves. His primary goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where families can feel safe and cared for. Dayna wants them to know that he will be with them every step of the way.


Holly Dolanz

Office Administrator

Holly's deep-rooted love for her community and her unwavering commitment to helping others is truly inspiring. Her eight years of service to the team have been marked by her kindness, compassion and genuine care for families. Holly's mission to serve with excellence and to ensure that families feel valued and cared for in their time of need is a testament to her character and the impact she has made in the community

Tiana Skea

Office Administrator (Salmo)

Tiana is a recent addition to the G.F. Oliver team. She is a creative and family-oriented person who loves spending time outdoors. As a long-time Salmo resident, she has a solid connection to her community and enjoys exploring the great outdoors. Tiana has a keen interest in the field of science, specifically in anatomy and pathology, and she is currently looking to expand her knowledge in these areas before pursuing a career in the field. She is always eager to learn and improve her skills to be more significant assistance to others.
