It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Yvonne Louise Brownfield on December 31st, 2025, in Creston, B.C., at the age of 90. Yvonne was born on July 13th, 1935, in Endersby, B.C.
Yvonne was a teacher in B.C and Alberta. After retiring from education, she worked as a bookkeeper, which she really enjoyed as math was her forte. Yvonne enjoyed travelling, square dancing, and playing cards, but her biggest passion was quilting. She devoted her time to the Creston Quilting Guild, serving on its board, coordinating workshops, teaching workshops, while helping with their shows, and winning many awards for her workmanship.
Yvonne is predeceased by her loving husband, Harry Brownfield. She is survived by her daughter Penelope Wall, son Richard Schulte, stepdaughter Glenda Latham, stepson Danny Brownfield, grandchildren Megan Wall, Sean Casey, Taylor Shulte, Daylan Shulte, step-grandchildren Nicole Munsie, Elizabeth Brownfield, Emily Rodriguez, and Sarah Brownfield.
