Vona Anderson

Vona Viola Anderson (née Carter) was born on August 12, 1928, in Coronation, Alberta. Father Archie, Mother Hanna, and sister Dorothy. Vona passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 97, at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, BC. Vona married Evert Anderson on March 18, 1963, and welcomed a son, Glen, in 1966, and a daughter, Connie, in 1968. Vona enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, and later doing word search puzzles. She also enjoyed playing the organ by ear. Vona was predeceased by her husband Evert in 2001 and son Glen in 2022. She is survived by her daughter Connie (Randy) Scott of Creston; granddaughter Kayley (Les) Batke of Creston; grandson Tyler (Keira) Scott of Creston; granddaughter Charmaine Anderson of Hope; granddaughter Ceana Anderson of Hope; sister Dorothy Alderson of Prince George; great-grandchildren Cadence and Jace Batke, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
