Randy F Scott

Randy was born in Creston BC on December 3, 1947 to Ned and Myrtle Scott and never once thought of living anywhere else.  His Dad’s family had been here since 1903 and owned Scotties Trailer Court.

In 1971 Randy attended BCIT in Vancouver to become a chef, graduating top of his class.  He began Randy’s Catering services and ran it for about 35 years.  He served many, many delicious meals for banquets, weddings, reunions and business functions.

His other interests were cattle farming, gardening and sports.  Thunder Cats, Toronto Blue Jays and Canucks were on the top of his list.  He ran the concession stand at the Rec Center for years and loved to socialize.

He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Bearne, daughter Kathlyn and son Josh (Cherie), and three grandchildren Jacob, Wyatt and Grace.  Two sisters, Gail McHone of Calgary, Sharon Terrill (Bill) of Creston and three nephews, two nieces and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. Family, friends and community were his life.

He will be greatly missed.
