Paul "Jerry" Popovich

Jerry Popovich passed away from COPD on June 3, 2019. Jerry was born in 1945 in Creston, BC and was raised on the farm in Wynndel with four sisters and two brothers. He met his wife Margaret in Calgary, AB and they were married in 1974. That year they bought their first semi. Jerry bought a lot of trucks after that, but it never got old for him, as trucking was his true passion. His trucks were his pride and joy and they could never be too clean or shiny! Jerry had a good, kind heart and he will be greatly missed.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents Paul and Pearl; his older brother John; his sister Anne and brother-in-law Bill; brother- in-law Fern; father-in-law Jack; brother-in-law Owen; and nephew Carter. He leaves to mourn him Margaret, his wife of 45 years; fur baby Mocha; sisters Mary, Julie and Jean; brother Jack (Joan), along with numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Doctor Ewing and to nurse Karen at the hospital for their support. Celebration of Life was held Sunday, June 9, 2019.
