Forever in our Hearts
Olga Leadbetter
August 12, 1938- October 20, 2022
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Olga Leadbetter, on October 20, 2022 at the age of 84. Olga was born and educated in Cranbrook, BC and then resided in Creston, BC where she married Gary Leadbetter and raised her five children.
As well as being our beloved mother, Olga was a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a sister, an auntie, a friend, a gardener, an avid reader, and an excellent cook and baker. She will be remembered forever for her devotion to her family, her loyalty and strength, and her generosity and love.
Olga will be deeply missed by her children, Sherry (Keith) Adrian, Robert Leadbetter (Tracie Zeiler), and Christine Bourgeois (Marty Agabob).
She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Chad Adrian, Phillip (Jodi) Adrian, Stacey (Jason) Spyksma, Joel Bourgeois (Olivia Nelson), Shaun Bourgeois (Aisha Ghani), and Jesse (Chantel) Bourgeois.
Great grandchildren, Jaylyn and Chase Spyksma, Carter and Payten Adrian, and her sister, Nina (Wayne) Hassel, brothers Bill and Dave Chiz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gary Leadbetter, sons Kenneth and Daniel Leadbetter, son-in-law, Verne Adrian, brother, Jack Chiz and parents, Nicholas and Pauline Chiz.
It is always too soon to say good-bye; we will forever miss her heartwarming smile.
