It is with deep sadness that the family of Lyn Charles Klimack, announces his unexpected passing on Monday, June 14, 2021, at the age of 71 years.
Lyn was married to his best friend and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Su; and siblings, Irwin, Betty and Elaine; as well as numerous other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Erwinnie (Irene) Klimack, and his sister, Violet.
Growing up in Manitoba, Lyn worked his adult life in Alberta. Early on he worked in sales at a lumber yard, which soon led him to his career in the house construction industry, spanning more than 40 years. Once retired, Lyn moved to Creston, BC.
Throughout his life, Lyn was an avid golfer and loved being on the water, whether it was sailing the waters of the Strait of Georgia on the west coast, spending laughter-filled days with friends at Baptiste Lake in Alberta, or fishing for the “big one” on Kootenay Lake. He also loved each of his pets – earlier Turdo the kitty, then Shelby his first Samoyed, and recently his sweet Sammy, Kalei.
Lyn had a wonderful laugh that brightened a person’s day and made everyone around him laugh right along with him.
No service will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers friends and family may choose a memorial contribution to the
