John Haley

John Egan Haley, age 80, of Creston, BC, passed away on August 18th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

John was born on May 8th, 1945, in Spokane, Washington, to Jo and JoEllen Haley. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather,

and a cherished big brother.

He is predeceased by his parents and 5 siblings, and is mourned by 8 remaining brothers and sisters.

He married Sandi Gagner on September 21, 1968 and together they had a life of love, adventure and service.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sandi, his children, John Jr (Melenie) and Ronald (Becky), 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. 

John will be remembered for his love of family, hearty laugh, ability to tell great stories, commitment to his students, service in his community, woodworking skills, generous nature and other countless qualities that made him dear to our hearts.

A funeral mass will be held on August 29, 2025, at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
