In Loving Memory of Gladys Schickerowski

The love in our family flows strong and deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep.

Gladys Mae Schickerowski, from Creston, BC passed away May 21, 2021, at the age of 64. Unable to celebrate her life due to COVID, we are looking forward to a sibling gathering to share our stories and our memories. 

Gladys was born July 3, 1956, to William and Lorraine Rancier. She spent most of her childhood in Killam, Alberta.

She married Ed Schickerowski and they welcomed 3 boys into their family, Adam, Peter, and Dwayne. Ed passed away on January 17, 2019.

Gladys also leaves behind 7 siblings. Elaine (Merle) Rancier-Fuller, Gilbert Rancier, who passed away March 4, 2022, Merlin (Amy) Rancier, Sandra (John) Rancier-Dyck, Treva Lemaire, Allan (Karen) Rancier, and Leanne (Chris) Akerstrom

She was also predeceased by her parents William and Lorraine Rancier.

Gladys loved her community, and many enjoyed her just stopping by when she was out for a walk. Her church family often repeated Gladys's favourite saying, "Just leave it to the Lord!"
