It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jean Holmes. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Jean was born in Victoria, BC and passed away at the Swan valley Lodge in Creston, BC at the age of 82 years.
Jean is survived by her loving husband; Don Holmes; Son, Allen (Terry) Holmes, Daughter Valerie Campbell; her grandchildren, Alec Holmes, Lexi (Mike) Nelson and Charlotte Campbell; great-grandchildren Kristopher and Aurora.
Jean had many different passions in life, which included sewing, crocheting, and a love of animals. But most of all, she loved her family. She touched a lot of people's lives and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Swan Valley Lodge for the compassionate care that was given to Jean.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on October 9 @ 2:00 pm at G.F.Oliver Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Creston Pet Adoption and Welfare Society.
