Donald Raymond Spalding

Following a brave battle with cancer, Don’s family sadly announces his passing on January 24, 2011 in Creston, BC.

Don was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on June 23, 1954 and received his education in Creston, BC. Don spent many happy hours riding his motorcycle, playing music and fishing. In June 1984, Don married Janette James and in November 1994 married Deborah Kriz.

He was predeceased by his wife Debbie (Kriz) Spalding; his father James Edward Spalding, stepfather Jerry Lee Toland; grandparents Henry and Elizabeth Spalding and Norris and Mary Biccum.

Don is survived by his mother Marlene Toland; daughters Michelle Rae Spalding (Babin), Jamie Lee Spalding (Babin) and step daughter Karly Kriz; his brothers Jim and Mike Spalding, Doug, Kelly and Mark Toland; sisters Connie Zibin and Patricia Toland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

At Don’s request, there will be no service. A private, family gathering will be held at a later time.
