Donald Wray Elmer (Don), 47 of Kitchener BC. Passed away suddenly on January 1st 2024.
Don was born to W. Lynn Wray and John (Jack) Elmer in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on April 20, 1976. He graduated from Sparwood Secondary School in Sparwood, BC in 1994 and went on to work in several trades including trucking, excavation, and logging. He loved being in the outdoors in any season and had a smile for everyone. He never met a boat, quad, trike, jet ski that he didn’t want to try. He worked on the pit crew for many years in Fernie, BC for Red Rabbit Racing.
Don was predeceased by his Grandparents Audrey and DeWillis Wray and Donald and Marg Elmer. He is survived by his mother W. Lynn Wray, John (Jack) Elmer and his brother Michael Elmer (Brandi Chalupnik), and Sisters Barbara Elmer and Sarah Evans and girl friend Tracy Irons. Don also had a large extended family and many friends he loved like family. His smile and laughter were contagious, and he loved to see other people happy.
A celebration of life, Come & Go, will be held on June 1, 2024 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm
