On March 4, 2021, in his 75th year, David Wade of Creston B.C, peacefully passed away in the Creston Hospital knowing his wife of 54 years (Lorraine Wade) and his 3 children were by his side.
Dave was born on July 26, 1945 in Pembroke Ontario to Percy and Eleanor Wade. Dave graduated grade XIII from Pembroke Collegiate in 1963. After graduating from Pembroke Collegiate he pursued a degree in Chemistry at the University of Waterloo.

His career in the chemical manufacturing industry continued when Dave was selected to oversee the construction and start up operations of another major manufacturing plant “Saskferco” just outside of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where he resided until retirement in April 2002. Post retirement, David and Lorraine settled in the Creston Valley of British Columbia.
Throughout his adventures across the country, Dave’s passion and enthusiasm for nature and adventure led him to the outdoors where he spent time hunting, fishing, canoeing, and gardening along side his wife and best friend.
