Charles Duncan Truscott

June 9, 1933 - September 30, 2023

It is with heavy hearts we are announcing the passing of Charles (Chuck) Duncan Truscott, born June 9, 1933 in Creston, B.C.

Chuck was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.  He will be sorely missed by his brother Robert, his children and their families Kevin (Marian), Grant (Heather), Linda (Darrell), Dale (Christine), as well as his grandchildren and great grand-children.

Chuck gave much to his community. His volunteer commitments included being past president of Rotary, a senator in the Jaycee’s, serving on the hospital board and school board, and being master of ceremonies for the Ducks Unlimited fundraiser for 25 years.  If you needed help with something Chuck was there. Whether it was calling Bingo or making breakfast at the seniors centre, giving someone a ride, delivering Christmas hampers or donating food to kids camp. 

Chuck recommitted his life to God in his later years and served on the Dream Team at the Covenant church in Erickson. He loved singing hymns, listening to Pastor Tom preach and going to church with his kids when they were in town. 

Chuck was predeceased by his wife Elaine, parents William and Eleanor, and brothers Donald and Lewis.

Thank you to all the staff at Swan Valley Lodge. Chuck was so grateful to be surrounded by caring, supportive and helpful staff. He felt very blessed to reside there. The family would also like to thank everyone for making his experience such a positive one and for the compassionate support you provided the family during his last days.
