Iris Aryan

Iris Aryan of Canyon, B.C. passed away on February 20, 2019 at the age of 60 years. 

Iris was born in Surrey, BC to Rudolf and Hannelore Seemel.

In 1982 she married her sweetheart before they moved to Norway, where she learned her third language while starting a family and becoming a loved and well remembered member of the community.

After moving to the Creston Valley in 1992 she quickly became known as much for her giving nature and volunteer work with many organizations, as her skills as a horticulturist and hostess.

She is survived by her husband Tony; children Behruz (Abby), Stephen, and Maria; grandchildren Jordana and Alexis; siblings Birgit (Robert), Barbara, Claudia (Phil), Rene (Kirsty); and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11am at Creston Baptist Church, 2431 Ash Street, Creston, B.C.
