Helen was born in Delia, Alberta and moved to Creston in 1946 when she married John S. Bullock. They had four children.
Helen was a very talented woman; Her baking was always first prize, as were her gardens and flower arrangements. She sold AVON for 48 years and did most of those years walking. She was like a mother bear when it came time to defend her family. She loved music, dancing, and games – especially cards and scrabble. You have never seen her not looking like a very classy fashion Queen, but her outer beauty was only a small part compared to her inner beauty. She loved to tell jokes and laugh. People were drawn to her. To know her was to love her. She was generous to a fault and always saw the best in people. She will be incredibly missed by family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2000, and survived by her children Stephen (Linda) Bullock, Rusty (Ken) McDonald, Barry(Brenda) Bullock, Donna (Greg) Amas, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, adopted daughter Kathy Johnston, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Salvation Army. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held December 12th at the Redeemer Lutheran Church at 1PM.
Pastor Harry Haberstock officiating.
